Frequently Asked Questions

We work with newborns through 6 years old. Refer to our Services page to find a package that’s right for you and your family.

Absolutely! We love working with multiples. In fact, Laura is a fraternal twin herself, and understands the nuances and special bonds associated with being a multiple. All packages are available to multiples at the same price.

The beauty of this process is that we do not need to live in the same city, or even country, to work together! Unless you would like to schedule an in-person consultation, all work can be completed via the phone, Zoom/FaceTime, or email.

Of course! However, we know that when you’re sleep deprived, trying to weed through all of the different sleep books, blogs, and social media pages can feel overwhelming. Or maybe you’ve tried a few different things and they just haven’t worked for you. Working with a sleep consultant, you get a clear plan that’s designed specifically for your family, not just a general approach. One of the greatest benefits of a sleep consultant is having a supportive coach to guide you through the entire process.

Laura is certified as a Pediatric Sleep Consultant through the Family Sleep Institute – pioneers of the child sleep industry. Their certification program is one of the most comprehensive available, providing both evidence-based curricula and practical experience. Her affiliation with the Family Sleep Institute also includes continuing support from other graduates, as well as continuing education courses.

Family Sleep Institute

Every family is different. We know that there is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to sleep training, so we employ a wide variety of methods and strategies, all personalized to best fit your unique situation.

We like to call our approach “process differentiated sleep solutions.” We take the time to evaluate your specific situation and needs by considering your child’s age, sleep goals, temperament, parenting philosophies, and lifestyle. Together, we then walk through multiple sleep training options and select the one that best aligns with all of these factors. Finally, we create an individualized sleep plan that is rooted in sleep science that we will work together to successfully implement.

While we are child sleep experts and will make recommendations surrounding your child’s sleep environment and encourage every family to follow safe sleep guidelines, we are not a child safety experts. This means that we will not be able to provide specific instruction for things like child proofing. Below are relevant links you may find helpful if you need additional child safety information.

Child Safety Resources:

We cannot offer you a “100% guarantee.” Why? Because the biggest factor in seeing your child succeed is YOU. You have to be willing to commit to implementing the plan and being consistent throughout the entire process. If you are committed and consistent, you will see significant progress toward your goals.

The first step would be to book a free 15-minute discovery call on the Services page. This call is your opportunity to ask questions about the process, learn more about Laura, and select a package that’s just right for your family’s specific needs. We can’t wait to speak with you!
